Job summary

Edgewell Personal Care seeks a Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd and 3rd shifts in Sidney, Ohio. You will repair and maintain production equipment and building systems under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, following safety rules and PM schedules.

The role requires diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing welding and lubrication, and supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. Experience in industrial maintenance is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Four years’ industrial maintenance environment experience.
• Self-starter with solid work ethics.
• Use of computer and Windows based programs.
• Proper operation and preventative maintenance of all mechanical equipment in the facility including basic electricity.
• Able to work with little or no supervision and train teammates.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain production equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
• Set up welding and metalwork as needed for mechanical strength.
• Lubricate and maintain moving parts and replace worn components.
• Complete standard forms after each job and report issues to supervision.
• Participate in evacuation drills and safety procedures as required.
• Support continuity of operations and lead backup when needed.
• Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
