Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to oversee repairs on production equipment across shifts in Winston-Salem and Garner, NC. The role offers relocation assistance and a $1,000 sign-on bonus after one year, with visa sponsorship unavailable.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic systems, weld, install equipment, and manage stockroom parts to keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years industrial maintenance & troubleshooting experience.
• 1–3 years PLC troubleshooting experience.
• 1–3 years of experience with electrical – such as Three Phase.
• 1–2 years’ experience with pneumatics.
• Knowledge of Fabricating, Electrical, Pneumatics, Welding and Rigging.
• Good Machine Shop skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following written work order scheduling and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve issues related to the DC equipment and controls.
• Understand and troubleshoot any issues related to the electrical phases systems.
• Perform equipment installation and welding.
• Identifies parts needed and maintains an inventory of parts in the stockroom.
• Performs equipment changeovers.
• Other duties as assigned.
