Job summary

Ocean Spray Cranberries, Markham plant, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support indoor operations on a 12-hour shift (4pm–4am or 4am–4pm) with rotating weekends off. Starting pay is $35.05 per hour, with a year-round schedule and five 20-minute paid breaks.

Position requires troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and data entry into CMMS. There is potential to advance to Electro-Mechanic or Master Mechanic within two years of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining plant equipment and electrical components.
• Ability to work with electrical controls and automation.
• Ability to work with supervision; may work alone.
• Knowledge of VFDs or motors ≤25 HP requires supervisor review.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, rebuild, and repair plant equipment.
• Perform general repairs on buildings and supporting systems.
• Use hand and power tools to repair/replace faulty equipment.
• Diagnose electrical issues with multi-meter and replace components.
• Input data into CMMS accurately.
• 5S and housekeeping; assist other maintenance staff.
