Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a maintenance mechanic to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will work on dryers, chillers, HVAC, pumps, conveyors, and related systems, while keeping a safe and clean workplace.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, fast repairs, parts management, and coordination with managers to schedule routine service. A relevant certification and PLC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of mechanic experience in manufacturing or distribution settings.
• Certification or license in industrial, electrical, or welding fields.
• Experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts.
• Experience implementing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on equipment.
• Repair broken machines and equipment quickly and efficiently.
• Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
• Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Order and install replacement parts for machines.
• Assist in electrical projects and perform minor electrical repairs.
• Maintain and service building equipment including HVAC, lighting, water and sewer.
• Maintain documentation as required.
• Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
