Reworld Projects, LLC in Florida is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance on equipment and systems supporting our industrial disposal process. You will use root-cause analysis, prioritize work to minimize downtime, and document activities in the company's CMMS.

The role requires 2–4 years in heavy industrial/manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and willingness to rotate shifts.

Apply today!About the roleAs a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance tasks required to ensure safe and efficient operational effectiveness of equipment and systems which enable Reworld's industrial disposal process.Position Responsibilities:· Effectively complete preventive maintenance tasks per maintenance schedule to prevent breakdowns of equipment and operational downtime· Utilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdown and line stoppages collaborating with various teams and stakeholders· Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair and installation of equipment, tools, and utility systems to minimize production downtime and complete all required paperwork and documentation in the company’s computerized maintenance documentation program· Utilize Reworld's defined maintenance documentation program to open and close out work orders, check out spare parts, and other activities as required in the plant.· Repair and/or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessary· Observe and evaluate the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions utilizing mechanical devices· Review maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities· Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety performance standards.Position Requirements & Qualifications:· High School Diploma/GED or 5 years equivalent experience– Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.· A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment· Must have the ability to work a rotating shift scheduleShift:· Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday days, one month per year nights.Physical Demands of the Role:· Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb· Ability to lift/carry 50lbs· Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces· Qualify to wear a full-face respirator· Consistently work in various weather conditionsTotal Rewards & Compensation:· Health Care Benefits - start 1st day of employment· Wellness Program Incentives & Rewards· 401k - match up to 7%· Paid Time Off (Vacation & Holiday)· Paid Parental Leave· Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Benefits· Tuition Reimbursement· Employee Referral BonusAll Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.Please note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.Pay TransparencyReworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages.
