Job summary

The Donohoe Companies are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at a large facility in northwest Washington. Candidates should have at least three years of experience in a sizable commercial facility and be able to perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

You will work various shifts from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, or 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including health,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial building experience with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Hands-on equipment experience (e.g., changing filters, grease bearings, repairing valves, lighting maintenance).
• Must be flexible and able to work all shifts.
• Must pass a background check to obtain a site badge.
• Requires reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• EPA Universal 608 (CFC) license.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections of systems and equipment.
• Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Maintain equipment to industry standards.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical problems as required.
• Work with chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, and split systems.
• Assist sub-contractors for installation and/or repair work.
• Interface with building manager and client representatives to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete daily, weekly, and/or monthly system status reports.
• Purchase materials and maintain inventory for timely work completion.
• Prepare predictive maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Accurately document work performed on tickets/work orders.

Responsibilities

The Donohoe Companies are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at a large facility in northwest Washington. Applicants should have at least three years of experience working in a sizable commercial facility.

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections of systems and associated equipment
• Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis
• Maintain equipment to industry standards
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical problems as required and/or as assigned by the supervisor
• Chillers, Cooling Towers, AHU's, VAV's, FCU's, Split Systems
• Provide assistance and support to sub-contractors designated to perform installation and/or repair of equipment and/or hardware as required
• Interface with the building manager and other customer representatives to ensure client satisfaction
• Complete daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports of system status as directed by supervisor
• Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion
• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reports of system status and work completed
• Prepare predictive maintenance on assigned equipment in order to prevent breakdowns and/or outages
• Must be able to pass background check
• Accurately document work performed on tickets and/or work orders

This position requires flexibility. Hours will range from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Salary $30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Preferably 3+ years of commercial building experience with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Hands‑on equipment experience (e.g., changing filters, grease bearings, repairing flush valves, stop valves, changing ballast, light bulbs)
• Must be flexible and able to work all shifts
