Job summary

Lee Michael Industries in New Castle, PA, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to service and repair fleet trucks, forklifts, and construction equipment.

The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles and equipment; performing preventive maintenance; tracking maintenance records; and working safely with basic hand and power tools alongside the shop team. This is a full-time position with OT as needed and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair vehicles and equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on fleet trucks and construction equipment.
• Track oil and filter changes, inspections, and maintenance records.
• Document equipment issues and recommend parts for replacement or repair.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Operate lifts equipment, and vehicles throughout the shop and yard.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and functional work area within the maintenance shop.
• Work cooperatively with other maintenance and shop personnel to ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and operational.

Lee Michael Industries is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in New Castle, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience of servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles and construction equipment, including fleet trucks, forklifts, and other construction machinery.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow instructions, stay on task, and work independently.
• Ability to work effectively with maintenance staff and shop personnel.
• Ability to frequently stand, kneel, crouch, and stoop while performing job duties.
• Ability to lift-up to 50 pounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair vehicles and equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on fleet trucks and construction equipment.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time 40 hours per week, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday & Over Time as required to complete task.
