Maintenance Mechanics (1st and 2nd Shift) - Nutraceutical Company

We are seeking Maintenance Mechanics for both 1st and 2nd shifts at a Nutraceutical Company located in the Hauppauge area. Candidates should have experience repairing and troubleshooting production equipment. Experience working in a Nutraceutical or Pharmaceutical company is preferred. Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year

Shift: First (8 AM - 5 PM)

Education: High School diploma required

Responsibilities

1. Perform daily, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
2. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including mixers, encapsulators, tablet presses, packaging lines, conveyors, HVAC systems, and other machinery.
3. Support equipment changeovers and setups for production runs.
4. Ensure compliance with FDA cGMPs, company SOPs, and safety regulations.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS.
6. Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment readiness and reliability.
7. Recommend and implement improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
8. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery or upgrades.
