Maintenance Mechanic - Sign-On Bonus!

• Sign‑on bonus of $2250.00
• $500.00 after 90 days
• $750.00 after 6 months
• $1000.00 after 1 year of employment
• Hours: 10 or 12 hour shifts
• Day shift – 6am to 6pm
• Night shift – 6pm to 6am
• Starting wage $33.58/hr – $37.02/hr

About the Role

As a Maintenance Mechanic in the Maintenance Department reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the daily execution of the department’s operating plan, working with Maintenance Planner, Technicians, Operations, and Safety to increase equipment availability and reliability.

What You’ll Do:

• Support plans to reduce breakdowns, improve planned maintenance, optimize scheduled maintenance, and effectively execute downtime events.
• Maintain the facility safely and keep equipment at a high standard of availability.
• Participate in wash‑up day planning, half‑time, and follow‑up meetings.
• Incorporate plant delay items into weekly wash‑ups.
• Maintain close contact with the Maintenance Supervisor to minimize disruption to production.
• Recommend improvements in maintenance and operational procedures.
• Capture and record necessary equipment and material history.
• Work with storeroom personnel to order replacement parts.
