Western New York Integrated Care Collaborative, Inc. is seeking a full-time maintenance technician for the 2nd shift (2:30 pm – 11:30 pm) in Clarence, NY.

The role covers skilled work in plumbing, heating, and commercial electrical trades, with blueprint reading and material estimation. Candidates must be ambulatory, able to lift 50+ pounds, and work well in a team while using power tools and testing equipment.

Competenze

• Must be ambulatory and able to lift, move, and carry heavy items over 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk and operate related power equipment; good vision.
• Team player with ability to evaluate problems and implement solutions.
• Experience in plumbing, heating, electrical trades preferred.

Hours: Full-time, 2nd shift, 2:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Starting salary: $21.50/hour

JOB GOAL:

The incumbent performs work in one or more of the skilled building or service trades, on a journeyman level, in the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment and facilities. Perform related work as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Regular daily attendance;
• Must be ambulatory; ability to walk and carry heavy items and to be able to operate all related power equipment;
• Must have good vision; ability to see well enough to meet standards set by supervisor or district;
• Must possess physical strength; enough strength to lift, move, and carry heavy items throughout the day (heavy items are defined as those that weigh over fifty (50) pounds);
• Intelligence; must be able to evaluate a problem, devise and implement a solution;
• Must possess social skills; must be able to work in a team environment.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs skilled work with one or more of the building or service trades;
• Performs work in the plumbing and heating trade;
• Performs commercial electrical work Plans work, estimates material and supplies required, may read blueprints to determine outcome of work indicated, interprets diagrams, charts and specifications, requests supplies and equipment.;
• Operates power equipment hand tools and testing equipment, maintains equipment and shop in good condition;
• May repair trucks, tractors, lawn mowers, and other equipment as directed;
• Other tasks as assigned.
