Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Mechanic at our facility in Surprise, AZ. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for equipment maintenance, corrective maintenance, maintenance and repair, preventive maintenance, and industrial maintenance. Daily tasks will include troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment, as well as performing calibration, electrical, and mechanical repairs. The Maintenance Mechanic will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in equipment maintenance, corrective maintenance, maintenance and repair, preventive maintenance, and industrial maintenance
• Familiarity with machinery and mechanical systems, especially slitter and rewinder machines.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and basic wiring
• Basic welding experience is a plus
• Document repair and maintenance activities and keep accurate records
• Experience with hand and power tools, as well as test equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical technology, or similar field is a plus.
