Job description

We are seeking positive & talented individuals who thrive within a fast-paced manufacturing environment for our maintenance opportunities. Our maintenance staff maintains the operating condition of buildings and equipment, and completes various machine and building repairs. Our maintenance team keeps our plant machinery and facility in proper operating condition. The maintenance team also works closely with the building property manager. The maintenance team works to formulate and arrange plans to update systems and reduce operating costs. There is daily responsibility for analyzing and solving technical maintenance problems within our fast-paced manufacturing facility. Must utilize knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and/or heating and cooling skills when performing assignments. Will operate common hand and power tools on a routine basis. Must be able to read and understand schematic and mechanical drawings for hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and related equipment. These positions require an individual who is inquisitive and tenacious when trying to problem solve. These roles require someone who is highly safety conscientious. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical components, hot machinery, pressurized hoses and pipes. Must be motivated to see projects through to the end even when working under relatively little supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with a positive, professional demeanor is essential for this role. We are seeking a minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance. Familiarity and comfort using a computer are necessary for this role. Basic math skills and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are also required.
