Job summary

Crane Pumps & Systems is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support our Piqua, OH operations. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot a range of systems, and assist with facility improvements across multiple plants.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Three to six years of industrial maintenance experience or related technical experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and maintenance activities.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to equipment issues and support production by minimizing downtime.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, cleaning, and repairs.
  • Support facility improvement projects including lighting, floor repairs, and equipment relocation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
  • Dismantle equipment to diagnose problems and replace defective components.
  • Test and verify equipment performance after repairs and maintenance.
