Job summary

Crane Pumps & Systems is seeking a hands-on maintenance professional to support two facilities, respond to equipment issues, and drive reliability across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs, and assist with facility projects while collaborating with production and maintenance teams to implement improvements.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field or equivalent.
  • 3–6 years of industrial maintenance or related technical experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read safety rules, maintenance instructions, diagrams, and manuals.
  • Basic math skills and ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to equipment issues and minimize downtime to support production.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, cleaning, and repairs.
  • Support facility improvement projects including lighting, painting, and relocations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Install and repair equipment, wiring, and electrical components.
  • Test equipment performance after maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist with equipment moves and future factory initiatives.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to implement improvements.

This role supports both our Third Street and Covington facilities and plays a key part in maintaining production equipment while helping execute our future factory vision. You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility-related projects while contributing directly to the efficiency, reliability, and growth of our manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Do
  • Respond to equipment issues and support production by minimizing downtime.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, cleaning, and repairs to maximize equipment performance and reliability.
  • Support facility improvement projects, including lighting, painting, floor repairs, equipment relocation, and other infrastructure upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
  • Dismantle equipment to diagnose problems and replace defective components.
  • Test and verify equipment performance following repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Install wiring, conduit, and electrical components for new and existing equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair motors, relays, switches, transformers, sensors, and other electrical devices.
  • Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, drill presses, and grinders to fabricate or repair parts.
  • Assist with equipment moves and other projects supporting future factory initiatives.
  • Partner with production and maintenance team members to identify and implement improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Three to six years of industrial maintenance experience or related technical experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to perform calculations related to measurements and maintenance activities.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems.
  • Welding, fabrication, or machining experience.
  • Experience supporting facility expansion or equipment relocation projects.
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial setting.
