Mi Mama's Tortillas is seeking a maintenance mechanic with experience in a food manufacturing environment to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair packaging equipment, and support plant operations.

The role emphasizes mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical skills, and welding/fabrication, with a focus on the packaging department. On-site work in Omaha, NE, with full-time hours and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment required.
• Production maintenance experience (1 year) required; 2+ years preferred.
• Duties include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair packaging equipment and other plant machinery.
• Maintain and repair various plant systems as needed.
• Work predominantly in the packaging department and support production as required.

Job description

Immediate opening for maintenance mechanic with experience in a food manufacturing environment. Duties include PM's on equipment, troubleshooting/repairs and maintaining/repairs to various needs in the plant. Skills should consist of mechanical, troubleshooting and repairs, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, PLC programming, welding and fabrication are all pluses. Main responsibility will be mechanical work in the packaging department.'
