Job summary

ArchCare seeks an experienced maintenance professional for nighttime shifts at our New York location. The role involves inspecting and repairing heating, electrical, plumbing systems and assisting with grounds duties.

Responsibilities include boiler and equipment inspections, drywall, painting, sewer line work, and wheelchair maintenance as needed. A high school diploma and at least 3 years in maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in maintenance field.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspections of all equipment operations, adjusting or repairing where necessary.
• Inspect heating equipment boiler, fire and water sides, pumps, heating units during the summer month.
• Assist grounds keeper with snow removal and mowing as needed.
• Sheet rock, taping, painting of walls; tile work and grouting of walls and floors; wallpapering.
• Assist in snaking out sewer lines; upkeep of plumbing fixtures.
• Maintain electrical work and air conditioners.
• Wheelchair maintenance as needed.
