Job summary

Husqvarna Construction is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for our Columbia, SC facility on 2nd shift (2:30 - 11:00 p.m.). You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems, diagnose issues, read blueprints, and ensure OSHA/EPA compliance to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge, and ability to work in varying environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar in manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Strong problem-solving and quick-diagnosis abilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varying conditions.
• Certifications in maintenance or industrial mechanics are a plus.
• Basic industrial math, ability to use micrometer, bore gauging and dial indicators.

Husqvarna Construction in Columbia, SC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our 2nd Shift (2:30 -11:00 p.m.). This role is critical to ensuring our equipment and facilities operate efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and improvements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations in maintenance processes.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in maintenance or industrial mechanics are a plus.
• Skills: Basic industrial math to include metric system of weights and measurements. Ability to use micrometer. Working knowledge of bore gauging and dial indicators.
