Husqvarna Construction in Columbia, SC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our 2nd Shift (2:30 -11:00 p.m.). The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep production equipment and facilities operating efficiently.

Applicants should have 3+ years of experience, strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints. OSHA/EPA safety compliance is required and certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement effective repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to troubleshoot equipment.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and improvements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations in maintenance processes.

Husqvarna Construction in Columbia, SC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our 2nd Shift (2:30 -11:00 p.m.). This role is critical to ensuring our equipment and facilities operate efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in maintenance or industrial mechanics are a plus.
• Skills: Basic industrial math to include metric system of weights and measurements. Ability to use micrometer. Working knowledge of bore gauging and dial indicators.
