Job summary

The Maintenance Technician at Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast in Needham, MA repairs and maintains all assets within the automated warehouse. You will identify, troubleshoot, and repair issues on automation equipment to ensure efficient operation of machinery and facilities.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality, with flexibility for a 5-day schedule and potential night/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair at equipment and processes level.
• Proficiency with computer applications including Outlook and Excel.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends or irregular hours as required.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy parts weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Perform electrical, pneumatic and mechanical repairs on automation equipment.
• Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
• Overhaul and install new equipment.
• Rebuild and fabricate parts.
• Manage parts inventory to ensure adequate stock.
• Perform equipment change-overs and production line set-ups.
• Maintain clean and safe work area at all times.
• Protect the integrity and quality of product at all times.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Maintenance Mechanic

• Compensation: $40 per hour
• Schedule: 5 day work week. Schedule may vary Monday-Saturday, afternoon/evening availability required.
• Basic Requirements: Industrial Maintenance experience required /Demonstrated experience with mechanical, electrical, and/or pneumatic repairs on automation equipment. Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) a plus!

Job Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
• Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or Engineering preferred
• 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) preferred
• Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
• Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Must be able to use a laptop or tablet to fix errors
• Must be able to work nights, weekends or other irregular hours as required by business needs
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment where it is required to lift and carry heavy equipment and machinery parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
