Job summary

Arcosa Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Muskogee, OK to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

You will read schematics, work with PLCs, and ensure safety standards while maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities. The role requires hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and 3-phase power, plus the ability to troubleshoot, test,

Qualifications

  • Performs complex repairs on production equipment and tools motors and mechanical components including basic pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Must have experience with Hydraulics, Electrical, and Pneumatics all tied into PLC operating system.
  • Performs basic troubleshooting on electrical equipment / 3 Phase / equipment up to 480v.
  • Reads blueprints and schematics
  • Complete PM maintenance and repairs on production equipment (Band Saw, Iron Worker, Burn Table, Welding Machines & Plasma Torches, Overhead Crane & Forklifts)
  • Maintain the facilities (Lights & Fans)
  • Follow all safety rules and practices including but not limited to Lockout/Tagout and PPE assessment

Job description

What You\’ll Do
  • Performs preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs to production and mechanical equipment, machinery and components
  • Determines causes of operating problems, consults schematics and orders replacement parts.
  • Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical or electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, follows electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specification
  • Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies production electronic components, parts, switch panels etc.
  • May test new equipment and troubleshoot operation and make minor adjustments to equipment
  • Experience working with PLC,s and using programming software.
  • Maintains and completes all required records
  • May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
What You\’ll Need

  • Follow all safety rules and practices including but not limited to Lockout/Tagout and PPE assessment
  • Follows all safety rules and practices
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Working Conditions
  • Hourly Full-Time position
  • Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production, and non-production areas
  • This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
  • Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant

  • Be aware of and observe all safety practices. Including but not limited to- Safety glasses, safety boots, hearing protection, etc… as required
  • Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.
  • Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
