Overview

It will be the responsibility of the Maintenance Mechanic to perform all maintenance throughout hospital buildings and grounds. These functions will be performed in accordance with all applicable codes, guidelines, and governing commissions.

  • Lighting replacement/repair
  • Performs all types of plumbing repair
  • Performance of any in-shop repair work
  • Performance of Self-identified and Environmental rounds
  • Performance of preventative maintenance
  • Performance of emergency response requests.
Qualifications
  • HS diploma or equivalent and 5-7 years experience 5-6 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Plumbing, Carpentry, Commercial Maintenance, and/or Mechanical experience. Other: Air conditioning, electronic knowledge, computer skills, & telephone knowledge or
  • No Specific Requirements and 7 years of directly related work experience in lieu of degree

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $20.40/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
