Pay:
- $24.79 - $40.80/hr.
- Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Job Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
- You should be able to interpret blueprints and schematics, use a variety of tools and diagnostic devices, and have a keen understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment
- Disassemble machinery and equipment when there is a problem
- Repair or replace the necessary parts, such as gears, bearings, and valves
- Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery
- Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear
- Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices
- Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs
- Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems
Required Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Good manual dexterity and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Good communication and team working skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate or associate degree in a technical field is a plus.
- Understanding and adhering to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) like arc flash suits, is essential.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including 480V three-phase systems, is highly valued. This includes working with motors, control panels, and other industrial equipment
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT), OSHA Safety Certifications, HVAC Certification, Electrical and Mechanical Certifications, vocational or associate’s degree in industrial maintenance, industrial technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Mechanical knowledge in the operation, repair and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot, and fix equipment malfunctions efficiently.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and manuals to understand the working of machinery.
- Experience with various tools, including power tools, multimeters, and testing devices, used in the repair and maintenance of industrial equipment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, managers, and other stakeholders, report issues, and explain equipment functionalities.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and standards to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition and to avoid overlooking potential issues.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy machinery and work for extended periods.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to record and track maintenance activities.
- Physical Demand: often involves lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
- Technicians may also need to stand, kneel, or crouch for extended periods.
- Safety precautions are essential, as the work environment can sometimes be hazardous.
