Job summary

Future Aviation, Inc. in Southwest Florida is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The role focuses on keeping facilities and equipment running smoothly, with responsibilities spanning painting, plumbing, electrical work, filter replacement, and preventive maintenance.

Additional duties include installing and repairing automated equipment, replacing light bulbs, cleaning the facility, and coordinating with vendors for repairs. Emergency repairs may be required to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Performs routine painting, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Replaces air conditioner filters at scheduled intervals.
• Performs preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities.
• Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains buildings, performing routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring.
• Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the facility.
• Installs, programs and repairs automated equipment.
• Checks and replaces light bulbs as needed.
• Cleans and maintains the overall appearance of the facility.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Coordinate with vendors on work orders to repair facility or equipment when necessary
• Notifies management of needed repairs or unusual noise/operation of equipment.
• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
