Job summary

Future Aviation, Inc., a HEICO Corporation repair group, seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Southwest Florida facility. The role focuses on maintaining building appearance and functionality and supporting production equipment during maintenance.

You will perform routine maintenance, electrical, plumbing, HVAC-related tasks, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety and compliance. Experience of at least two years required; strong reading and math skills and English proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• At least two years of relevant experience.

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to use cognitive reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Maintains buildings, performing routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring.
• Replaces air conditioner filters at scheduled intervals.
• Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the facility.
• Installs, programs and repairs automated equipment.
• Checks and replaces light bulbs as needed.
• Cleans and maintains the overall appearance of the facility.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Performs handyman construction duties such as fabrication and repair of counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
• Coordinate with vendors on work orders to repair facility or equipment when necessary
• Notifies management of needed repairs or unusual noise/operation of equipment.
• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
