Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform welding, repair and fabrication on rock crushing equipment in quarry operations. This non-exempt, on-site role involves maintenance of heavy equipment and related duties as needed.

The position offers an hourly range of $25.00–$32.00 based on experience, with a sign-on bonus of $2,500 for qualified candidates. Work is conducted in field settings with exposure to typical construction site conditions.

This non-exempt position performs maintenance on quarry plants.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Frequently requires the ability to sit, talk and hear. Frequently requires the ability to stand, walk, use hands/fingers, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch. Frequently requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Requires following specific types of vision: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work environment - field settings. Conditions may include all or some of the following: moderate noise level to high noise levels, exposure to mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions and vibration, wet and/or humid (non-weather) conditions, high/precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic/caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, work with explosives and vibration.

Hourly Range: $25.00 - $32.00 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess 3-5 years of related experience but does not have to be industry specific.
• Welding certification is preferred.
