Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform maintenance on quarry plants. This non-exempt role includes welding, repair and fabrication on rock crushing equipment to support field operations in the Mid-Atlantic region.

A sign-on bonus of $2,500 is available for qualified candidates. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of related experience and welding certification is preferred. The job involves field work with exposure to loud environments, weather, and heavy machinery,

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Frequently requires the ability to sit, talk and hear.

Frequently requires the ability to stand, walk, use hands/fingers, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch.

Frequently requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Requires following specific types of vision: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work environment - field settings. Conditions may include all or some of the following: moderate noise level to high noise levels, exposure to mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions and vibration, wet and/or humid (non-weather) conditions, high/precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic/caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, work with explosives and vibration.

Qualifications

• Must possess 3-5 years of related experience but does not have to be industry specific.
• Welding certification is preferred.
