Qualifications

• 3 years of field experience repairing construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and up-keep of production equipment to meet targets.
• Develop quick and accurate communication with field personnel.
• Assure quality of repairs to minimize recalls/duplicate work.
• Assure compliance with all governmental and company safety policies.
• Review shop tool requirements to do work more efficiently.
• Observe and report deficiencies to support PM program for effectiveness.
• Coordinate with Small Tools Manager and parts personnel for on-time delivery of parts.
• This position will be hourly and require overtime as needed.
• Must have sufficient tools; company does not provide industry standard tools.
• Pickup truck must be kept clean and orderly.
• Stay within HOS (hours of service) as applicable.
• Comply with Trimble/Telogis regulations.
• Performs other duties as required.

Responsibilities

The primary objective of equipment maintenance is the repair and up-keep of production equipment; making sure to keep it in a safe, effective operating condition so that production and quality targets can be met on time and at cost.

• Develop quick and accurate communication with field personnel.
• Assure quality of repairs to minimize recall/duplicate work.
• Assure compliance with all governmental and company safety polices.
• Comply with Human Resources policies.
• Review shop tool requirements to do work more efficiently.
• Observe and report any deficiencies to forward our PM program for effectiveness and possible additions to our program.
• Work closely with our Small Tools Manager and our parts personnel to assure on time delivery of parts.
• This position will be hourly and require overtime as needed.
• Must have sufficient tools to do the job. The company does not provide industry Standard Tools.
• Pickup Truck must be kept clean and orderly.
• Responsible for staying within HOS (hours of service), if applicable
• Responsible for complying with all Trimble/Telogis regulations.
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.

• 3 year field experience repairing construction equipment required.
• High school diploma, GED, or trade school preferred.
• Valid driver's license required
• Must be able to work early mornings, and evenings.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Must be knowledgeable with all components of construction machinery including but not limited to gasoline and diesel engines.
• Ability to make repair decisions quickly and rationally.
• Expected to keep all sensitive material confidential.
• Able to arrange schedules, recommend machinery to be down for repair as needed, and able to make parts orders.
• Ability to give and receive written or oral instructions.
• Must have ability to work independently and safely.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
• Basic skills in OXY/Acetylene torch.
• Basic MIG Welding
