  • Enters work requests in the computerized maintenance management system and maintains inventory.

Responsible for performing minor to complex repairs, preventive maintenance, touring, monitoring and reporting abnormal conditions. Interacts with patients and patient's families including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in the course of their normal maintenance duties. Contact is frequent but usually limited to an explanation of maintenance services rendered and common courtesies. Under the direction of their supervisor, this position will work 5 days a week and 8 hours a day in the performance of their responsibilities. Will provide technical direction to lower level maintenance mechanics. This position is subject to work all shifts, weekends and holidays with a frequent call back at any time with no notice. This is not an on-call position.
