Responsibilities

• Operate overhead crane for machine loading and unloading.
• Layout and plan cut paths; determine proper tooling.

• Maintain a clean work area and manage chip production.
• Measure finished pieces with rulers and calipers.
• Complete required paperwork or electronic records.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Advanced Machinist Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 6+ years machining experience (mill, lathe, saw, or boring machines) with large steel forgings
• Ability to communicate in English
• Proficiency with tape measures
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs

Advanced Machinist Preferred Background & Skills

• CNC (mill or lathe) experience
• MDI experience
• OSHA or machining certifications

Advanced Machinist Day-to-Day Responsibilities
