Job Responsibilities

1. Install new or relocated machinery, ensuring proper electrical supply.
2. Complete work orders, including replacing lamps, repairing hoses & pumps, responding to temperature complaints, and performing maintenance on manufacturing equipment and building systems.
3. Determine whether to repair, replace, or modify equipment, and advise supervisors accordingly.
4. Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedule, including lubrication and filter changes.
5. Perform HVAC-related tasks such as checking belts, lubricating bearings, and changing filters.
6. Visually inspect and test machinery, listen for malfunctions, and diagnose issues.
7. Dismantle defective machinery and install repaired or new parts.
8. Clean and lubricate machine parts.
9. Install and maintain piping and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and repair gauges and pressure regulators.
10. Maintain the physical structure of the facility.
11. Operate machine tools for repairs and fabrication.
12. Operate cutting torches or welding equipment as needed.
13. Perform pipe fitting, pump rebuilding, and fabrication tasks.
14. Be available for on-call duties when necessary.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

One-year certificate from college or technical school preferred, plus 3-6 months of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to keep the production facility operational at all times.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and improve.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
• Mechanical skills, including pipefitting, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills are preferred.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and email.
