Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to service equipment on site. You will diagnose problems, perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs, and support building maintenance using basic tools and schematics.

This role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, willingness to work overtime, and adherence to OSHA safety practices. The successful candidate will have an equipment maintenance background and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' plant/equipment maintenance experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems and troubleshoot systems.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.
• Coordinate outside repairs if needed.
• Mentor and train lesser-experienced teammates.
• Lift up to 40 lbs and work overtime as required.
• Set or adjust procedures to meet production schedules.
• Ensure repairs are completed promptly and safely per OSHA standards.

Job Summary

The maintenance mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and support of all equipment on site. This could involve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs, as well as building maintenance. This role involves using basic hand and power tools, and reading schematics, diagrams, or basic sketches.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems
• Troubleshoot systems and make necessary adjustments, corrections or repairs
• Call-in and coordinate outside repairs if needed
• Mentor and train lesser trained team members and assist in their advancement
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and walk or stand most of the shift and be able to work overtime as needed
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules
• Make repairs in a timely fashion
• Work and perform safely with knowledge of OSHA standard industrial safety practices
