Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform planned, unplanned, and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems that support our industrial disposal process. You will work to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operation.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2-4 years in heavy industrial/manufacturing, ability to work rotating shifts, overtime as needed, and the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs and wear a full-face respirator.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to wear a full-face respirator
• Ability to work overtime, as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks per schedule to prevent breakdowns
• Utilize root-cause analysis to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages
• Prioritize work to minimize downtime and complete paperwork in CMMS
• Open/close work orders and manage parts in the plant maintenance system
• Repair/maintain machinery including inspection, assembly, and replacement
• Observe operation to diagnose malfunctions and ensure safety standards
• Review maintenance reports to plan upcoming activities
• Inspect equipment for conformance with operational and safety standards
