Reworld is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across our industrial disposal processes. You will diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, and maintain equipment in a safe, compliant manner.

The role requires 2–4 years in heavy industry, a MA 1C/2C hoisting license, and willingness to work on call, nights, weekends, and holidays. You will use our maintenance documentation system to manage work orders, track spare parts, and ensure accurate reporting

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years in heavy industrial manufacturing.

Apply today!About the roleAs a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance tasks required to ensure safe and efficient operational effectiveness of equipment and systems which enable Reworld's industrial disposal process.Position Responsibilities:Effectively complete preventive maintenance tasks per maintenance schedule to prevent breakdowns of equipment and operational downtimeUtilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdown and line stoppages collaborating with various teams and stakeholdersPrioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair and installation of equipment, tools, and utility systems to minimize production downtime and complete all required paperwork and documentation in the company’s computerized maintenance documentation programUtilize Reworld's defined maintenance documentation program to open and close out work orders, check out spare parts, and other activities as required in the plant.Repair and/or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessaryObserve and evaluate the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions utilizing mechanical devicesReview maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activitiesInspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety performance standards.Position Requirements & Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent, requiredA minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environmentMust possess or be able to quickly obtain MA 1C/2C Hoisting License (refer to state of MA for license requirements)Must be flexible to work on call, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required to meet company needsTotal Rewards & Compensation:Competitive Base SalaryDay one employee benefits: competitive health insurance options, PTO, retirement savings plan and 401K matchPhysical Demands of the Role:Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climbAbility to lift/carry 50lbsAbility to work from heights and in confined spacesQualify to wear a full-face respiratorConsistently work in various weather conditionsAll Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.Please note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.Pay TransparencyThis role is covered under a Labor Union / Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
