Carlisle Construction Materials is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic on 1st shift for hands-on maintenance across our Carlisle Campus. You’ll perform machining, welding, carpentry, electrical, pipefitting, and plumbing tasks to keep systems operational.

We’re looking for aMaintenance Mechanic - 1st shiftwho takes pride in quality work and problem-solving. This role is essential in keeping our campus running efficiently and safely through skilled maintenance and repair work across a wide variety of systems and equipment.
Hourly Rate: $38.20
You’ll use your hands-on skills to plan, install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems across our Carlisle Campus. Tasks include:
Performing work inmachining, welding, carpentry, electrical, pipefitting, and plumbing
Installing and aligning machinery and equipment
Operating shop tools and heavy equipment such aslathes, mills, forklifts, and tractors
Maintaining boilers, HVAC systems, and other essential infrastructure
Troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical systems
Completing preventative maintenance and repair tasks in a safe and timely manner
Collaborating with a diverse team across departments

Basic understanding ofindustrial maintenance practices
Comfortable readingblueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Skilled in operating a variety of hand and power tools
Knowledge of shop equipment like mills, lathes, and grinders
Basic math and measurement skills
Clear communication skills — written and verbal
Commitment tosafety and continuous improvement
Experience with machine troubleshooting and working in high or confined spaces
High school diploma or GEDpreferred
Completed apprenticeship, technical program, or equivalent mechanical experience preferred
0–4 years of experiencefor entry-level roles |4+ yearsfor senior roles
Industrial/manufacturing experience is a plus
