Sika is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for its Roofing team in Canton, MA. The role involves facility maintenance across all shifts, with 10% or 20% differential pay for 12‑hour day and night shifts. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and service heavy production machinery while emphasizing safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial mechanical work, knowledge of pneumatic controls, and OSHA/ EH&S familiarity. Forklift certification is a plus.

• Familiarity with environmental, health & safety regulations.

Job Description

Sika is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanics to join its growing team in the Canton, MA area for our Roofing business. Currently looking for all shifts. Differential pay (10% for 12 hour day shift and 20% for 12 hour night shift)

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for general facility maintenance on their shift and will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

• General office and manufacturing maintenance
• Lubrication / oil changing of heavy production machinery
• Modify existing structural components to comply with safety regulations, cost savings measures as required
• Perform all duties while maintaining high quality with every day thoughts for Environment, Health & Safety
• Other tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• High School Degree
• 5 + years of experience industrial mechanical experience in a production environment
• Prior forklift certification a plus
• Familiarity with environmental, health & safety regulations
• Must possess good mechanical aptitude and be able to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
• Knowledge of pneumatic cylinders and controls
• Extrusion and sheet line experience a plus
