Job summary

Complete Building Services (CBS) is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and building at an office in Bethesda, MD. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry with a focus on reliability and safety.

Salary is $30.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm schedule. EOE, including disability/veterans, and a supportive, inclusive workplace within The Donohoe Companies, Inc.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years' of experience within the past five (5) years as a Maintenance Mechanic in a commercial or government building.
• CFC/EPA certification preferred.
• Must possess ability to identify common causes of building system failures.
• Must possess ability to conduct routine testing procedures.
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Replace ballast, electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Basic plumbing, replace flush valve, wax ring, leaks, sinks, etc.
• Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
• Patch minor holes and cracks in walls or ceilings using plaster or compound.
• Painting of structures and equipment.
• Replace damaged ceiling and floor tiles.
• Repair doors and install door locks.
• Replace broken window panes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role

The Maintenance Mechanic shall have the ability to perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and building requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry work. Must be flexible.

You Should Have

What we are looking for in your resume:
