Job summary

Complete Building Services is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our Adelphi, MD campus. This open-shift role requires flexibility to cover days, holidays, and weekends as we provide around-the-clock coverage.

Pay is $27.50 per hour, with full benefits and opportunities across our hotel, convention center, and administrative office building operations. The ideal candidate will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC and electrical systems, handle plumbing and kitchen appliance repairs,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with trades background.
• Must possess a Universal CFC License.
• Experience with high pressure steam/chillers on-site.
• Driver's License required.
• 2-7 years' commercial building or college campus experience.
• Boiler and fire alarm experience.
• BAS/EMS experience.
• Hotel experience is a plus.

About the Role

Located in Adelphi, Maryland, this is an open shift position—must be available to work any days and shift as we provide around the clock coverage 365 days a year.

Hours: M-F (working hours variable depending)

Salary: $27.50 per hour

Our shift Maintenance Mechanic will need to perform a full and thorough tour of central plant mechanical equipment every shift. You will also be responsible for completing preventative maintenance and tasks and reactive maintenance requests. Our campus contains a hotel, a convention center, and administrative office building. Our ideal candidate will have a strong familiarity with all three of these property types. An ideal candidate will also be able to float and cover shifts and be flexible to change their schedule as needed when required by coverage requirements. This could include holidays or other special days.

A day in the life of a Maintenance Mechanic might look something like this:

• Perform preventative and general maintenance
• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and electrical
• Plumbing repairs
• Kitchen appliance repair
• Conduct daily building/equipment tours
• Perform other duties as assigned

You Should Have

• High School Diploma or GED + Trades
