Complete Building Services (CBS) is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support a large hotel in College Park, Maryland. The role covers HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance, with training toward licenses. Schedule is 2:30pm–11:00pm; weekend work required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Repair and troubleshoot equipment and systems as required.
• Assist subcontractors and coordinate with building management.
• Maintain equipment per industry standards and complete reports.
• Procure materials and manage inventory to ensure timely work.

Job description

Complete Building Services (CBS) is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support a large hotel in College Park, Maryland.

The Maintenance Mechanic will perform operations, repairs and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing to equipment within the facility, while acquiring skills and knowledge to complete the training required to obtain licenses.

$20 - $26

Typical Day As A CBS Maintenance Mechanic

• Daily, weekly and monthly inspections of systems and associated equipment
• Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis
• Maintain equipment to industry standards
• Diagnose and repair simple HVAC, plumbing and electrical problems as required and/or as assigned by supervisor
• Provide assistance and support to sub-contractors designated to perform installation and/or repair of equipment and/or hardware as required
• Interface with building manager and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction
• Complete daily, weekly and/or monthly reports of system status as directed by supervisor
• Run wiring, cabling, and ductwork, and mount equipment according to specifications as directed
• Place or remove systems and equipment as directed
• Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
