Job summary

Complete Building Services (CBS) is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support a large hotel in Alexandria, Virginia. The Maintenance Mechanic will perform operations, repairs and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure reliable facility operations.

Location is Alexandria, VA with 40 hour work weeks and weekend availability. CBS offers competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits, plus opportunities for licensing training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work all shifts.
• Must be available to be on call 24/7.
• Basic coursework in electrical and HVAC systems.
• Universal CFC/R-410A.
• Prior hotel experience a plus.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to lift sixty (60) pounds.
• Capable ofascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet).
• Possess excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily, weekly and monthly inspections of systems and equipment.
• Perform preventative and general maintenance.
• Maintain equipment to industry standards.
• Diagnose and repair simple HVAC, plumbing and electrical problems.
• Assist subcontractors for installation/repair as required.
• Interface with building manager and customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete system status reports as directed by supervisor.
• Run wiring, cabling, and ductwork; mount equipment as directed.
• Purchase materials and maintain inventory for timely work completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Complete Building Services (CBS) is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support a large hotel in Alexandria, Virginia

The Maintenance Mechanic will perform operations, repairs and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing to equipment within the facility, while acquiring skills and knowledge to complete the training required to obtain licenses.

Location: Alexandria, Virginia

Hours: 40 hours per week (Must Be Able To Work Weekends)

Salary: $22 - $26

Typical Day As A CBS Maintenance Mechanic

• Daily, weekly and monthly inspections of systems and associated equipment
• Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis
• Maintainequipment to industry standards
• Diagnose and repair simple HVAC, plumbing and electrical problems as required and/or as assigned by supervisor
• Provide assistance and support to sub-contractors designated to perform installation and/or repair of equipment and/or hardware as required
• Interface with building manager and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction
• Complete daily, weekly and/or monthly reports of system status as directed by supervisor
• Run wiring, cabling, and ductwork, and mount equipment according to specifications as directed
• Place or remove systems and equipment as directed
• Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion
• Perform other duties as assigned
