Job summary

Omni Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Greendale, IN. This role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems, with hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years in a manufacturing setting, strong electrical/mechanical aptitude, and the ability to manage work orders in Visual/IQM.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Industrial maintenance certification or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 2–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Maintenance Team Lead in all aspects of maintenance procedures and activities.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
  • Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic subsystems, ovens, machining centers, and other custom equipment.
  • Execute and manage repair and preventative maintenance work orders in the Visual/IQM system and ensure completion.
  • Maintain and repair building systems, facility infrastructure, and surrounding grounds, including all subsystems.
  • Facilitate the installation and/or movement of equipment as needed within the facility.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Demonstrate company core values and maintain strong attendance and reliability.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as directed by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Strong Electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Skills:

AC/DC electric, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, machining, and fabrication.
