Job summary

River Sands RV Resort is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead daily maintenance operations, oversee preventive maintenance, and manage a skilled team at our scenic Arizona resort. The role focuses on keeping facilities safe, functional, and inviting for guests.

As a hands-on leader, you will coordinate projects, manage budgets, and ensure amenities meet the highest standards, while fostering a culture of safety and teamwork within CRR Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in managing maintenance operations
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and related systems
• Experience developing and managing preventative maintenance programs
• Budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management experience a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

What You'll Do

As the Maintenance Manager, you'll lead the daily maintenance operation while ensuring our resort remains safe, beautiful, and operating at the highest standards. You'll oversee preventive maintenance, capital improvement projects, grounds, facilities, equipment, and a talented maintenance team that helps create an exceptional experience for every guest.

Leadership & Team Development

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance team


• Create schedules that maximize efficiency while supporting outstanding guest service


• Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development


• Foster a culture built on accountability, teamwork, safety, and excellence


• Lead by example, working alongside your team when needed

Maintenance Operations

• Develop and manage comprehensive preventative maintenance programs


• Prioritize daily work orders, repairs, and maintenance projects
  
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, and project timelines


• Manage inventory, purchasing, and departmental expenses in partnership with the General Manager


• Monitor maintenance budgets while identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies


• Ensure all resort facilities remain in excellent operating condition

Resort Facilities & Equipment

Oversee the maintenance and repair of:

• Buildings and common areas


• Luxury cabins and guest accommodations


• Pools and resort amenities


• HVAC systems


• Plumbing and electrical systems


• Appliances


• Water heaters


• Mechanical equipment


• Company vehicles and maintenance equipment


• Propane station operations


• Irrigation systems

Grounds & Landscaping

Help keep River Sands looking its very best by overseeing:

• Irrigation systems


• Landscaping and lawn care


• Tree and shrub maintenance


• Weed and pest control


• Colorado River frontage maintenance


• Seasonal planting and landscape enhancements


• Storm cleanup and property appearance

Safety & Compliance

• Champion a culture where safety comes first


• Conduct regular safety meetings and ongoing training


• Maintain MSDS/SDS documentation and required records


• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements


• Promote a safe working environment for associates and guests

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience managing maintenance operations, preferably in hospitality, resorts, RV parks, hotels, or multi-family communities


• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, irrigation, pools, and general building maintenance


• Experience developing and managing preventative maintenance programs


• Budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management experience a plus


• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills


• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation


• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional on-call responsibilities
