Job summary

CT Polymers, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager to own the company’s facilities, assets, and machinery in support of our plastic recycling and compounding operations.

Reporting to the Owner/Founder, you will lead the maintenance team, drive predictive and preventive maintenance, manage the budget, coordinate with production, safety, and outside vendors, and ensure OSHA compliance and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years manufacturing experience in ISO 9001 environments
• Proven supervisory/managerial maintenance leadership with budgets
• Direct knowledge of extrusion and complex mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems
• MaintainX CMMS experience; strong MS Office skills
• Bachelor's in Manufacturing/Engineering or Millwright credential preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance staff; ensure accountability and safety
• Plan and manage repair, installation, calibration for mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems
• Drive predictive and preventive maintenance programs (PPM)
• Hire/oversee external contractors; evaluate repair estimates and quality
• Ensure safety programs comply with OSHA standards and document compliance
• Develop SOPs and maintain precise maintenance documentation
• Own maintenance budget; manage equipment stock and supplies
• Oversee asset lifecycle including decommissioning and disposal
• Collaborate with Production to meet KPIs and safety goals
• Contribute to budgeting and quality governance; report to senior management
