Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee industrial automation, PLCs, hydraulics, and electrical systems in a packaging facility. You will lead maintenance teams, drive continuous improvement with Lean practices, and coordinate projects to improve Safety, Quality, and OEE.

Required are 5–7 years in automation, leadership experience, and a Lean background; Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
5–7 years of experience in Industrial Automation, PLCs, Pneumatics, Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic.
Management experience in operations, maintenance, engineering and/or process improvement roles.
Lean environment experience preferred.
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification a plus.
Exceptional leadership and proven team-building skills.
Excellent analytical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Microsoft Office proficiency; Upkeep Maintenance Software knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversees, plans and issues work orders to shift team members for equipment modifications and preventive maintenance.
Prepares and coordinates maintenance resources and recommends for capital projects.
Reviews equipment operation with personnel to identify issues in Safety, Quality, Cost and Productivity.
Monitors KPIs to improve plant operations, OEE, and maintenance problem resolution.
Tracks, analyzes, and improves maintenance KPIs.
Conducts routine inspections to improve reliability of production equipment.
Develops relationships with suppliers and contractors for cost-effective procurement.
Engages employees in problem resolution using Lean techniques.
Drives the Maintenance team to meet productivity targets and standards.
Fabricates/modifies equipment as necessary.
Ensures regulatory compliance with city, county, and state agencies.
Monitors and reviews Maintenance expenses monthly.
Maintains records of maintenance activities and service schedules.
Assists in recruitment of Maintenance personnel.
Ensures training for Maintenance staff and identifies training gaps.
Performs other duties as assigned.
