Job summary

First Call Direct Hire in Franklin, IN is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the Maintenance Department in a manufacturing environment, focusing on reliability, preventive maintenance, and uptime.

You will develop teams, drive Lean initiatives, manage budgets, and collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Safety to improve safety and productivity while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Maintenance Department in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and downtime reduction.
• Experience coaching and developing maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance Department.
• Coach, develop, and manage Maintenance Supervisors and team members.
• Improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned machine downtime.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, machine repair, and equipment rebuilds.
• Track downtime and lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other departments.
