Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the site's maintenance and reliability organization, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of all manufacturing assets.

Responsibilities include planning and scheduling, KPI development, and contractor management, with a focus on equipment reliability and plant performance. A Bachelor's in engineering and 8+ years in industrial maintenance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance leadership experience.
• Experience with CMMS/EAM systems, maintenance planning and scheduling, and reliability programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Maintenance Supervisors, E&I Supervisor, Maintenance Planners, Reliability Engineers, Facilities Manager, and Inventory Clerk.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are executed safely and in compliance with company policies and process safety standards.
• Drive maintenance work management processes, including planning, scheduling, backlog management, and work execution.
• Establish and monitor maintenance and reliability KPIs, developing action plans to improve performance.
• Lead reliability improvement initiatives, root cause analyses, and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Manage maintenance budgets, contractor services, and maintenance-related capital projects.
• Support plant turnarounds, shutdowns, and major maintenance activities.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve equipment reliability, asset utilization, and overall plant performance.
• Develop training and workforce development programs to strengthen maintenance capabilities and succession planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
