The role demands strong OEE reporting, L2L experience, and deep knowledge of industrial machinery and plant systems.

Qualifications

• Food manufacturing experience is mandatory.
• Strong OEE reporting capability.
• Experience working within L2L.
• Boiler and electrical expertise.
• Strong automation controls capability.
• Deep subject-matter expertise across industrial machinery and plant systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Nice to have: Foreman or contractor license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and schedule a small maintenance crew, including performance management and time-off scheduling.
• Plan, assign, and perform preventive and repair maintenance across the facility, grounds, and both production lines.
• Track OEE and use that data to drive real improvements in uptime and efficiency.
• Manage work orders from open to close, accurately and on time.
• Own the maintenance budget and parts inventory.
• Coordinate outside contractors for specialized repairs, ensuring SQF/SSOP/GMP compliance on every job.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, repair records, and MSDS documentation per SQF/SSOP/GMP standards.
• Lead maintenance safety meetings.
• Support basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks as needed.
