Job summary

Mercy Housing in Olympia, WA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to work with property management at Evergreen Vista Apartments. You will oversee day-to-day maintenance, manage the budget, and coordinate vendor contracts to keep units ready for new residents.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance functions.

This is a hands-on Maintenance Manager position that will work in collaboration with property management to perform building maintenance functions and oversee the budget and vendor contracts for Evergreen Vista Apartments.

Pay: $27-31/hour, depending on experience

What You'll Do

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge And Skills

• Work in a collaborative manner and in a team environment.
• Comprehend and communicate in the English language, both orally and in writing. Present information to groups of people.
• Perform basic math and understand measurement systems used in the trade.
• Read and interpret electrical, plumbing, and mechanical diagrams and blueprints. Draft working sketches.
• Use maintenance, trade, and testing equipment and tools.
• Effectively oversee work progress of vendors or outside contractors.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle
