TEI Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee elevator maintenance operations across the designated geographic area. You will lead a team of technicians, develop maintenance schedules, and allocate resources to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency of elevator systems.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers and vendors, ensuring compliance with safety codes, and driving performance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in elevator maintenance or a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in departmental leadership and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of elevator systems and maintenance practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned area.

  • Lead and supervise the maintenance department team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high productivity and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for elevator and routine servicing to optimize operational efficiency and safety.

  • Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with safety codes and industry standards.

Job description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing all maintenance activities related to elevator systems within the designated geographic area. This role ensures the reliability, safety, and efficiency of elevator operations by managing the maintenance accounts and the manpower in the area . The manager leads a team of technicians and coordinates with various departments to prioritize projects and allocate resources effectively. While overseeing the financial goals and overall performance of the area. A key outcome of this position is to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of elevator equipment through proactive performance management and strategic planning while overseeing the Ultimately, the Maintenance Manager plays a critical role in maintaining high standards of safety, operational excellence and customer satisfaction in the industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in elevator maintenance or a similar role within the construction industry.

  • Previous experience managing multiple teams or departments in a construction or facilities management environment.
