Job summary

TREK Development Group in Pittsburgh seeks a Maintenance Manager for East Hills properties (313 units). You will lead maintenance staff, manage preventative programs, and cultivate vendor relations to maintain safety, compliance, and resident satisfaction.

Under the Community Manager, you will coordinate staffing, inspections, and repairs, while upholding TREK’s Hospitality Covenant and asset preservation goals. Strong leadership and hands-on expertise required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Minimum five years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• Minimum two years of supervisory or maintenance leadership experience.
• Advanced hands-on experience in at least four: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, or building systems maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and safety documentation.
• Trade school education or technical certifications preferred.
• Preferred certifications: CAMT, EPA Universal, HVAC, OSHA 10/30, NAHMS.
• Experience with LIHTC, HUD, HOME, Section 8 or other affordable housing programs.
• Knowledge of NSPIRE/UPCS standards and housing quality standards.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance orders, service requests, and emergency repairs to meet quality standards.
• Ensure vacant units are prepared and turned efficiently for new occupancy.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for building systems and common areas.
• Coordinate and supervise outside contractors and service providers.
• Maintain inventory and manage maintenance expenditures and vendor proposals.
• Ensure compliance with safety, inspections, and affordable housing regulations.
