Job summary

AAF International is seeking a Maintenance Manager at our Washington, NC manufacturing plant to lead the maintenance team, drive capital projects, and optimize preventive maintenance with automation, PLC/SCADA, and IoT-enabled equipment. This role focuses on uptime, OEE improvement, and world-class maintenance support across operations.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and EHS to implement lean maintenance, manage a CMMS, develop preventive/predictive programs, and mentor

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or related field.
5+ years of maintenance management experience in manufacturing/industrial setting.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Solid understanding of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

Plan, manage and execute maintenance and engineering projects including capital improvements.
Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, and EHS for timely delivery.
Lead selection and optimization of automated systems (PLCs, SCADA, robotics, IoT).
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Utilize CMMS to schedule, track, and report maintenance activities.
Monitor OEE and drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability.
